Materials

Hand-selected Argentinian leather, vegetable tanned for a rich, buttery finish. The pampa pattern is stitched with high-density waxed saddlery thread.

Size & fit

Belts are sized by waist, in inches. Pick the size you wear in trousers.

Care

Keep your belt dry. If it gets wet, blot it with a towel and let it air dry. Never machine wash. To clean the stitching, scrub the threads in the direction of the stitch with soapy water and a non-coloured sponge.

Delivery & returns

Australia: 2–8 days, $10.60 AUD, free on orders over $200 AUD. New Zealand and the US: $35 AUD flat rate. Returns and swaps within 30 days of purchase, with the item in perfect condition. Return shipping is paid by the customer.

go into every Forastero belt.

  1. Cut

A saddler chooses each piece of leather and cuts it by hand, following the grain.

  2. Stitched & embroidered

Every stitch is set by hand with waxed thread, following the pattern of each design.

  3. Finished

Edges are burnished, the buckle is fitted and each belt is checked before it leaves the workshop.

Gaucho House works with saddlers in Argentina who make every piece by hand, the way leather has been worked on the pampa for generations.
